Raisthorpe Manor – Shooting Photography

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Jonathan and Shooting Photography were delighted to be invited to photograph Raisthorpe’s first ever ALL LADIES day partridge shoot on Friday 27th September 2013, and what a day it was!

Raisthorpe Manor in North Yorkshire is renowned for its superb partridge shooting and hosts David and Julia Medforth. Along with a team of 8 highly experienced female game shots Jonathan witnessed spectacular partridge shooting on these rolling chalk hills.

The birds were plentiful and presented perfectly, hospitality matched the shooting, lunch was crispy (pork with crackling) and served up in on one of the finest of shooting lodges. A personal highlight was the Raisthorpe Manor’s own fine beverages including their raspberry and sloe gins that come served on the dining tables very own drinks train!
